The product is shipped in a cardboard box cushioned with bubble wrap inserts that protect the product during shipment.
Duplium uses Epson’s high-performance dye-sublimation heat transfer printers SureColor F6370 with 1440 x 720 dpi resolution. Printers use environmentally friendly ink which has no hazardous reactions, it is chemically stable, and does not contain carcinogens or reproductive and developmental toxicity. Glasses are coated with a polymer which makes them dye receptive. Printed artwork with the dye-sublimation inks on the special transfer paper is transferred on the glass under high temperatures. The process infuses the printed dye into the polymer coating of the blank. The image becomes part of the glass creating a very durable and long-lasting image.
Quality control is implemented through the custom-designed Order Processing System using multiple checkpoints and verifications as well as a 3 step print quality confirmation, at the printing stage, finished order collection, and in the QC Filter System before packaging and shipping. Duplium’s quality control process was modeled after decades of production experience in its ISO environment.
