Hi my name is Eli, I'm a pen and ink artist. Focusing on monochromatic art style. Using classic pen and paper for the prints and framed images and digital drawing for creating animation and most of the product presented to you. Also running a gaming studio called - Shugo Studios. Most of my work is with pen and paper which is scanned in high resolution for prints and other means of sharing. There is something deterministic and final in pen and ink that you can't find in other medium. Its bother intimidating and exiting to use. And the final result is always eye catching because of the high contrast and clean look of black and white. Also, with pen and paper, you can draw anywhere and any time, trying to capture moment as they happen with your own style and feel.
The other half is hand-drawn animation (frame by frame). Where every frame is a new drawing drawn fully by hand. This technique is the oldest one, but still holds its magic today. Hand-drawn animation lets the artist the full freedom move and give life to any part of the subject, so animations will looks more dynamic. A lot of the animations I create are for my gaming studio - Shugo Studios . But also for some short clips like you can see on the left.
